About the Foundation
Prachadhipok–Rambhai Barni Foundation was established by Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Prajadhipok (Rama VII), to support the operations of Prapokklao Hospital, Prapokklao College of Nursing, Chanthaburi, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, and the Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing.
The Foundation also provides financial support to other charitable organizations with similar objectives.

Prajadhipok, Protector of the People
His Majesty King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) was a visionary monarch who pursued gradual and peaceful change, guiding the country from absolute monarchy toward democracy under a constitutional system with the King as Head of State.
Upon deciding to abdicate the throne, His Majesty left the principle that “a stable and sustainable democracy must be governed by the rule of law and respect the rights and voices of the people.”

Queen Rambhai Barni, the Graceful, Serene, yet Confident with a Humility that characterized her throughout her life.
Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Prajadhipok (Rama VII), was a compassionate Queen known for her wisdom and capabilities in the performance of her royal duties.
She devoted herself to promoting education, medicine and nursing, as well as sustainable social development. She also carried forward the royal endeavours of His Majesty King Prajadhipok with steadfast dedication, for the lasting well-being and happiness of the Thai people.
